Our Services
Intensive therapy can save years
of counseling.
People choose intensives when they want problem resolution and the ability to move forward.
Intensive In-Home Therapy
Intensive In-Home Therapy is different from spending weekly sessions with a therapist. We make house-calls and dive deep into the problem. If you are experiencing relationship conflict, anger, anxiety, depression, or a past trauma, our services can help you make a long-lasting change. We offer privacy and the chance to work through past situations that overwhelm your current day-to-day life.
Your intensive will be customized to meet your needs, so it may be arranged for you individually or a way to help the whole family experience some change.
Therapists at Intensive Care Counseling use a combination of education, family systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and and trauma-focused treatments. Some of these brain-based methods are ways to work deeper in cases when trauma-focused care is recommended. These treatment modalities may include Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems. Our therapists are trained and certified in one or more of these therapies. See the four videos below for more information about how stress and trauma impact our nervous system.
If you are ready to make lasting changes in areas of your life, contact us for a free consultation. We will discuss your needs and see if you are a good candidate for intensive therapy.
Note that therapists at Intensive Care Counseling, LLC are licensed in Pennsylvania, USA, so engagement of services may require for you or the therapist to travel, stay in a hotel and work full consecutive days. Most insurances do not cover this service. Treatment may be several days depending on the information obtained during the consultation call.
